Celebrating California Garlique
So the garlic saga continues. You will recall that in my recent post ( Paesano Giorgio, Ma cosa hai fatto? ) I expressed my opinion food imports trends. These days, I remain particularly sensitive and vigilant when it comes to mushrooms, garlic and other imported items. So when I saw garlic from Gilroy California, the garlic capital of the US, I just could not resist on snapping a few pics before I set out to cook our daily meal.
So my friends I present to you Gilroy garlic, imported from the good ol' US.of A .
These babies, albeit small , are packed with flavor, and crunch. So , if you do see then at your local markets, pick up a few packs.
